  1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all reservations, access, and use of The Finnish Sauna, a wood-fired sauna structure (the “Sauna”) located at Plage du Débarcadère, Anières, Geneva.
The Sauna is owned and operated by Nikula Sàrl, a Swiss company registered in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland (the “Operator”).
By making a reservation or using the Sauna, the user acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. The Operator’s responsibility is strictly limited to the sauna structure itself.

  1. Reservations & Payment
  • Reservation Required: Access is subject to advance booking and full payment via the online booking system.
    • Duration: Sessions start and end strictly at the booked time. Late arrivals are not entitled to extensions.
    • Non-Refundable: All confirmed reservations are final and non-refundable.
    • Rescheduling: Rescheduling is possible only through the online booking system and must be completed at least 7 calendar days prior to the original booking time, subject to availability.
    • No-Shows: Missed sessions are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
    • Operator-Initiated Cancellation: In the event the Operator must cancel a sauna session due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, equipment failure, safety concerns, or staff illness, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. The Operator’s sole liability will be limited to a full refund of the payment made for the canceled session. The Operator is not liable for any other costs, damages, or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of the cancellation, such as travel costs or other consequential losses.
  1. Use of the Facility & Site (Crucial Liability Limitation)
  • Public Location Disclaimer: The Sauna is located in a public area. The Operator is not responsible for the maintenance, safety, or availability of the surrounding beach, Lac Léman, or public amenities (toilets, showers, parking).
    • External Amenities: Use of any public facilities is at the user’s own risk. No refunds apply if such facilities are unavailable.
    • Personal Belongings: No lockers are provided. The Operator accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage of personal property.

The provision of any storage facility does not constitute a bailment, safekeeping agreement, or assumption of responsibility by the Operator. No guarantee of security is provided, whether such facilities are lockable, numbered, assigned, or otherwise designated. The Operator expressly disclaims any liability for the loss, theft, damage, or deterioration of any personal property placed in or near any storage facility, regardless of the cause. Use of any storage facility is entirely at the User’s own risk, and Users remain solely responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
    • Hygiene & Conduct: Showering before sauna use and sitting on a towel is mandatory. Appropriate coverage is required outside the sauna.
    • Behaviour: Calm, respectful behaviour is required at all times. The Operator may refuse entry or remove guests without refund for inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive conduct at the operators sole discretion.
